National Development Bank Head Office

Completed in 1988, the construction of the headquarters for the National Development Bank, a prominent banking and financial services institution in Sri Lanka, marked a notable milestone in the local construction industry by being the first fairfaced concrete building in the country to be designed and supervised by a Sri Lankan team. The avant-garde design was recognized with a commendation in the Banks category at the 1989 Sri Lanka Institute of Architects design awards.
