Luxury Villas, Port City

DG5’s second local consultancy project in the Port City Colombo, the Port City Villas are beachfront luxury residential villas developed in the style of a gated community, in the ‘Island Living’ precinct of the Port City. Set towards the north of the precinct, the 10.9 ha site is located in the most prime land at the tip of the new port city, facing the vast Indian ocean to the West, and connected to the rest of the new city through green corridors, waterfront promenade and public beaches. The Colombo Luxury Villas is an exclusive sanctuary, consisting of ninety villas of three types and a clubhouse, with private yacht docks amidst a myriad of amenities and services at hand. Positively reimagining resort living with luxury, lifestyle, community and green space at its core, the Port City Luxury Villas is set to attract a range of local and international buyers, while providing a distinctive integrated destination with a unique value proposition.

DG5, as the local consultants for the project, provides design reviews for conformity with local regulations at each project phase and query responses on local materials, industry standards, norms and conventions during design development. The scope of work also entails obtaining the necessary statutory approvals & permits and conducting periodic supervision during construction as required.

The internationally renowned consultancy firm WATG Singapore Inc, serves as the Design Architect for the project, while DG5 closely collaborates with the Beijing Institute of Architectural Design (BIAD), who holds the role of Project Architect.
